"The Word of God has the power to purify and cleanse us completely, spirit, soul, and body. In John 15:3, Jesus says, "You are already clean because of the word I have spoken to you." Hebrews 4:12 also tells us that God's Word is living and active, able to penetrate deep into our hearts, revealing our thoughts and intentions. When God sends His Word, it brings complete sanctification, cleansing us from all sin and impurity. As Isaiah 1:18 promises, no matter how deep the stain of sin may be, God's Word can wash us clean, making us white as snow. This means that no matter how great our sin may seem, God's Word has the power to change us completely, cleansing us both inside and out."
There is always a special joy that comes when December begins—an excitement that gently fills our hearts as we enter the Advent season.
