Root of Jesse - Banner to His people

Jesus is called as a Banner in several instances in the bible. The main reference that I have taken for meditation is from Isaiah 11:10
" ‭“And in that day there shall be a Root of Jesse, Who shall stand as a banner to the people; For the Gentiles shall seek Him, And His resting place shall be glorious.”
God stands as a banner to His people. Banner symbolises Victory. Jesus is given as a banner a signal, a sign to His people. When you have Jesus it means you have victory. 
Moses fought against the people of amalek during which when the rod was lifted and people of Israel won and when it was brought low they were defeated. The Rod here symbolises Christ Jesus. Moses then built an altar and Named it " Jehovah Nissi" God is my banner. When Isaiah the prophet introduced the forecoming Messiah he gave a new name as " Banner to the people". What a privilege to have got Jesus the banner in our lives. Psalm 60 : 4 say's‭  "You have set up a banner for those who fear you, that they may flee to it from the bow. (Selah) " This banner, will be given to those who fear the Lord. Jesus will be reflected and will work in our lives and will bring us victory when we fear Him and obey Him. 
The God one who conquered the death and the grave,The sin and the Satan is with us as the banner. 
Whenever you feel defeated and downtrodden remember "Jehovah Nissi" The God your banner is with you. 
Jesus Never fails and will Never fail you
There's always Victory from sin and satan when the root of Jesse - Jesus the Banner is with us!

The Mighty Hand

A day after our Sunday chapel service, my sister and I were returning on a two-wheeler. She was riding, and I was seated behind her. It seemed like a normal ride, but within moments, things changed. Though she was riding slowly, she suddenly lost control, and we both fell. It was a frightening moment, she fell forward, face down on the ground. By God’s grace, no vehicles were coming behind us, which could have made the situation far worse. Though shaken, we somehow found the strength to get up. Finding True Love

Most of the time, we try to find true love in our work life—our careers, passions, family, pets, hobbies, and talents.
